Tubbs enters a high-stakes card game at the Trident club, posing as a player from out of town. He flashes cash and wins a hand, catching the attention of De Marco. He plants seeds of interest by claiming to be a criminal on the run from Philly looking for action. Then, Crockett is drinking alone on his boat at night when Gina arrives to comfort him. They share a romantic moment. The scene cuts to the next morning where Tubbs wakes Crockett up to give him the winnings from the poker game.
