"Too Much, Too Late" is technically the last "Tubbs episode" of Miami Vice. Tubbs confronts Valerie in an interview room back at OCB, angry that she lied to him and tried to frame Swain for murder, especially given how he would have gone down for the statutory rape charge he now faces anyway. Valerie confesses that she did it because she didn't think Lynette could survive in prison.
