At night, Candy meets with the corrupt hotel cops in a parking garage while Crockett and Tubbs listen from a surveillance vehicle. The cops discover she is wearing a wire, violently assault her, and flee the scene in their car. Crockett and Tubbs rush to her aid but fail to catch the escaping suspects.
